Error Message:

-No global profile is configured. Specify a profile name in the @profile_name parameter.

Reason:

-This happens if you have deleted the Default Profile for the SQL Mail and then you try to send SQL Mail.

Solution:

1. In SSMS, right click on Database Mail and choose Configure Database Mail.
2. Choose Manage Profile Security
3. There should be at least one line here. Choose one line and in the Default Profile column, change it to Yes
